Mayfest: Cornell's International Chamber Music Festival

As we celebrate our 10th year, there are a host of special events in locations throughout Ithaca:

Tasting Notes featuring star sommelier (and former Cornell music student) Thomas Pastuszak presenting 3 local wineries, paired with music

Poetry and Music featuring local poets reading their works paired with live music.

Choirs from IHS and Cornell combine to present a Sunday afternoon concert of animal-themed music, paired with Carnival of the Animals, narrated by a local celebrity.

Yoga and Bach – Yogi Steven Valloney leads three yoga classes paired with performances of Bach Suites for violin, viola, and cello at the CSMA.

Plus performances of the great poetic masterpiece Transfigured Night by Schoenberg, Schumann’s Piano Quintet, quartets by Beethoven, Bartok, and Stephan Grappelli, and more in Barnes Hall, Milstein Hall, and the Hayloft of the Carriage House!

It is a year to celebrate excellent music, eat and drink, and generally be merry! for more info!
