About this Event
The 23rd annual Greater Ithaca Art Trail has begun!
On October 7th to 17th, artists on the Greater Ithaca Art Trail invite the public into their world through live and virtual events. 35 of the 50 artists on the Trail will hold Open Studios on two Saturdays and Sundays, October 9th and 10th, and October 16th and 17th, from 11am to 5pm each day.
On Thursdays and Fridays, October 7th and 8th, and October 14th and 15th, there will be evening virtual studio tours, conversations with artists, workshops, presentations, and other fun events. All free and on zoom! Not only does Ithaca and Tompkins County have a wealth of amazing artists, it’s also a beautiful area to visit, especially in October when the fall foliage is at its peak. Explorers can travel Ithaca and the rural county roads, with beautiful scenery and artist studios as their destinations.
Art Trail artists are painters, photographers, sculptors, printmakers, fiber artists, ceramists, makers of fine furniture, collage artists, illustrators, mixed media artists, jewelers, and creators of decorative functional art. The artists are thrilled to share their passion for their art, and show off what they’ve been working on.
Visit ArtTrail.com to read about and see the work of all 50 Art Trail artists, watch some videos, and download the brochure/map (or e-mail to have one sent to you!). Find out who is open for Open Studios and see the list of virtual events.
