Cayuga Lake is experiencing a burgeoning population of Osprey, and is home to a variety of other permanent and migratory birds. We'll cruise by some of the Osprey nesting sites and hope to catch a glimpse of the parents and fledglings which are cruising above Cayuga's waters during their annual mating season. 

If there is interest on board, we'll take water samples and look at the plankton in the water that provide the basis of support all waterfowl need to survive. Narrators and occasional guest speakers will be on board to provide information and a slideshow. This is a great family cruise idea. Bring your binoculars if you have them!
