Date night, girls' night or just not ready to commit to a series of classes. This two-hour session will give you a taste of working on the potter's wheel with no strings attached. This workshop is designed for those interested in a one night experience. If you happen to love the experience and want to commit to a 7-week term, you can apply the cost of the workshop to a future class.
$45 gets you just the workshop, and if you'd like to keep a piece you make can now buy it through the website or if you're not sure you will also have the opportunity to buy it in the studio with cash or check for $15. The Clay School cannot accept credit cards in the studio.
***Working on the wheel with long nails can be difficult. We have some clippers if you need them.***
We (and the state of NY) require that all participants wear masks/face coverings over their nose and mouth for the duration of their time at the Clay School for your own protection and the protection of our incredible teachers. When you arrive the group will be split into 2 groups of about 5 people in 2 different room to aid in social distancing.
NYS Department of Health has issued quarantine restrictions for travelers arriving in NY from out of state. Please check with NYS to see if you qualify for quarantine. If you qualify for quarantine we will not be able to host you in the studio until you have completed your quarantine. We will be asking you about it at the door when you arrive. We will also be checking your temperature.
***Please know these workshops have a history of selling out quickly. If you're having trouble registering it's most likely because the date is fully or almost fully booked. Please check our calendar to see which dates are already sold out or almost sold out.
