This is a one day program for high school students and their mentors/teachers to discuss solutions to world hunger. Students write an essay to participate, and come to Cornell University to make a presentation. Students also participate in interactive activities, learn about study to career oppportunities, engage with research and industry experts, their peers in NY. to address a global challenge. All student participants are certified as World Food Prize Borlaug Scholars. Benefits include opportunities for summer internships in the U.S. and in another country, participation in the World Food Prize and develop skills in research, writing and public speaking.
